A very rare Viola made for, and sold by, Longman & Lukey London at No26 Cheapside and labelled internally.  This viola measures 15 3/4 in length. Attributed to the London maker Henry Jay by Alexander A Strachan 1928.
Having been fully restored by Stringers of Edinburgh in 2012 to the highest standards.
The viola comes in excellent condition for its age, untouched and retains its original neck.
