The renowned French musical instrument company established in the mid-19th century. Based in Mirecourt, France, became well-known for producing various musical instruments. The firm of J T L, employing over 1,000 craftsmen and producing around 150,000 instruments annually. Their instruments are well-regarded for their quality and affordability, making them accessible to a wide range of musicians.
This Cello is made from choice Tonewood, highly flamed two piece maple back, the ribs, pegbox and scroll made of the same figured maple wood. The front in two pieces of spruce of medium-broad grain. The oil varnish of a lovely amber colour.
